—Meaning of Buddha's Name—If someone hears the names of Medicine King and Medicine Superior Bodhisattvas, due to the great power of their spiritual vows, they will not fall into the realms of suffering or evil paths for five hundred asamkhyeya kalpas. Medicine Superior Bodhisattva’s great vow is as follows: "When I attain the pure strength of enlightenment, even before I become a Buddha, may any being who hears my name be freed from three kinds of suffering. First, for any physical ailments they may have, hearing my name will bring healing and relief. Second, when I become a Buddha, all beings born in my land will understand the equality of the Great Vehicle (Mahayana) and never be troubled by wrong views, ignorance, or the suffering of evil paths. Finally, if anyone reverently pays homage, remembers, or visualizes my form, may their three obstacles be eliminated, becoming clear and pure like flawless crystal, both inside and out. In this way, they will also perceive the radiant form of the Buddha." The vows of Medicine Superior Bodhisattva are in harmony with those of Medicine King Bodhisattva. |
1. Project Overview:
🔸A Buddhist banner is adorned with the sacred names of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, symbolizing the victory of the Buddha over the four Maras and the attainment of supreme enlightenment, proclaiming his status as the highest sovereign of the Three Realms.
🔸The banner measures 3 meters in length, crafted from premium silk fabric with vibrant colours.
🔸The sacred names of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are beautifully embroidered, and it is luxuriously adorned with hand-sewn gems and jewels.
🔸There are 24 Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, totalling 72 banners.
🔸They will be arranged to hang in the Grand Hall of BW Monastery and the Great Hall of Ban Foo Monastery

If one passes away, they are liberated from the three lower realms and eight hardships, reborn in favourable circumstances or the Pure Lands of the Buddhas, and eventually achieve supreme enlightenment.
🔸Overall Dedication for the Donor:
Wishing for family peace and auspiciousness, physical and mental well-being, longevity, and the elimination of illnesses, karmic obstacles, and afflictions. In future lifetimes, being born among humans or deities, with a graceful appearance, wealth, honour, and an abundance of resources. Always encountering the Three Jewels, receiving guidance from spiritual teachers, and having the favourable conditions to practise the Dharma and swiftly attain Buddhahood.
