「The Disease Triangle」is made up of host, pathogen and environment. When one of the three factors is missing, the triangle is not complete, and no disease will occur.

Heart is the central of internal organs. Hence, keeping up good moods could help to boost immunity quickly. On the contrary, maintaining positive and optimistic thinking could enhance our immunity.
Look into the mirror every morning, check if your expression looks bad. If you’re in bad mood, practise a little bit of smile. Then think,“I’m still alive today, how nice!” Think about how I’m going to help others today. If you could think from these perspectives, you would keep your mood alive.
Maintain Indoor Temperature and Humidity
If the temperature of the environment is too low, human body’s immunity will decrease.
If you are in an air-conditioned room, it is recommended to adjust the temperature to about 25°C and the humidity to 55%.
Eat Less Sweet, Fried, Cold Food；Supplement with Spices Moderately
If the internal environment of the body could be kept in good status, not too damp, with diet that is not too hot and humid, it is not easy to be infected with virus. How to avoid dampness in the body:
(1) Less sugary food:
Eating too much candy can lead to a decrease in immunity. If you want to eat something sweet, you can change to bitter chocolate.
(2) Less fried food:
Immunity has a great relationship with the gastrointestinal system. If the spleen and stomach are weak, the immunity will also decrease. Fried foods have a greater burden on the intestines and stomach. It is recommended to eat a light, easy-to-digest diet.
(3) Less cold food:
Cold things will deplete righteousness. Melons such as: watermelon and cantaloupe, cannot be taken too much, as the body will be cold.
(4) Supplement with Spices Moderately：
Spices can remove moisture. Spices like curry, fennel, star anise etc. are good to the body, especially vegetarians whose body are usually damp, can take some food containing spices.
Exercise can produce yang, promote blood circulation, and improve immunity. Do at least half an hour of exercise every day, and don’t be too tired. Too tired will make your immunity weaker. For example: walking briskly until you feel a little panting, sweating slightly. This is a good exercise.
Keep a Regular Lifestyle, Try to Sleep before 11 o’clock
Sleeping at night is an important moment for nourishing yin. It can adjust the balance of yin and yang in the body. The classic Chinese medicine“Huangdi Neijing” records that“When sleeping at night, blood will return to the liver.” Blood will flow into the liver meridian at night. If you sleep peacefully, the tissue can be repaired. Hence, you must go to bed before 11 o’clock at night. If you need to get up early, you should go to bed earlier. Adults must sleep at least 6 hours a day, and children must sleep for more than 8 hours, and it is best to go to bed before 9 o’clock at night.
Get up the next morning when the sun comes out. Don’t stay in bed or make up for sleep, because in the morning, the yang is more prosperous, and the blood mostly runs outside the liver, and you will wake up very often. Therefore, if you sleep during the day, it violates the physiological function, and it will lead to poor physical strength and weakened immunity in the long term.
In addition to wearing a mask and washing hands frequently, the maintenance of the respiratory tract is also very important. The lungs like to be moistured and hate to be dry. Drinking more Omega 3 anti-inflammatory oils or eating white foods, such as lily, snow fungus and lotus seed soup, can also achieve the effect of maintaining the lungs.
Lily Tremella Lotus Seed Soup
Tremella/Snow fungus 10g
Lotus seeds 20g
Rock sugar 100g
Soak the tremella in warm water for about half an hour.
Then, wash and cut off the hard parts of the tremella roots, and tear them into small pieces by hand.
After the tremella is boiled with water, turn to low heat and cook for about two and a half hours.
When it’s cooked until thick, add rock sugar and mix well.
Add lotus seeds and continue cooking for half an hour.
Finally add the lily and cook for 15 minutes to complete.
