「疾病金三角」是由宿主(host)、病原(pathogen)和环境(environment)组成,当三者失去平衡,则会发生疫疾。环境温度的变化会影响病原,助长病毒生长;环境也会影响宿主,像是冬天人的免疫力较低落,容易得流感。这也是为什么每年冬天,欧美国家都会进入流感季节。所以「疾病金三角」中,「环境」最为重要。
从体外的环境来说,病毒喜欢低温,如果维持较高温或干燥的外在环境,病毒便丧失活性。
这次疫疾是「湿」比较重。当体内的环境处于潮湿的状态,宿主相对容易得病。因此,避免吃湿热的食物相当重要。
「The Disease Triangle」is made up of host, pathogen and environment. When one of the three factors is missing, the triangle is not complete, and no disease will occur.
Heart is the central of internal organs. Hence, keeping up good moods could help to boost immunity quickly. If you feel uneasy and worried about the pandemic, your immunity will decrease and that would be bad for your health. On the contrary, maintaining positive and optimistic thinking could enhance our immunity.
Let’s practise:
Look into the mirror every morning, check if your expression looks bad. If you’re in bad mood, practise a little bit of smile. Then think, “I’m still alive today, how nice!” Think about how I’m going to help others today. If you could think from these perspectives, you would keep your mood alive.
If the temperature of the environment is too low, human body’s immunity will decrease.
If you are in an air-conditioned room, it is recommended to adjust the temperature to about 25°C and the humidity to 55%.
运动可以产生阳气,促进血液循环,便能提升免疫力。每天至少做半个小时的运动,也不要太累,太累反而会使免疫力下滑。例如:快走走到有点喘,微微出汗,这样就是很好的运动。
Exercise can produce yang, promote blood circulation, and improve immunity. Do at least half an hour of exercise every day, and don’t be too tired. Too tired will make your immunity weaker. For example: walking briskly until you feel a little panting, sweating slightly. This is a good exercise.
